Will she ditch Croak and go rogue with her reaper skills?
Review: I didn't really enjoy this book, it honestly felt like the whole book was a build up for the next book in the series, which was a shame because I thought this book had real potential.
I hated Lex at the beginning her personality was unrealistically violent, and the fact that she managed to beat up everyone in school without getting expelled was just bad. Then it turns out that Lex only had this personality, so that the author could make it a symptom of her becoming a reaper and you could understand why as it was pretty extreme.
This book dragged until the last 10% when it finally picked up and something actually started to happen. I'd already guessed what was going to occur and who was doing it, but I liked the way the author explained how the villain did it. I'll probably read the next one purely because I went through the hassle of reading the build up novel.
Recommendation: I wouldn't read it unless your looking for a series and are planning to be in it for the long haul, or if you stumble across it by accident.
